Flashback to exactly one year ago today — we were sweating our butts off in the summer heat, and I was totally unaware of what was coming, but you had been carrying this ring with you all day! Hours later, just the two of us… the best man I’ve ever known asked me to marry him. I said yes of course but…I’m pretty sure I blacked out from pure excitement. 🥹✨
It ended up being the second best day of my life — because the best one was still to come. 🥂

Looking back to April when I was woken up at like 3am to a almost frozen baby. A warm bath and a friend later she was good to go. I am so thankful for this life!

Waiting between the surgeries wasn’t the hardest part- but it was hard. The in-between held a lot of unknowns, quiet moments, and deep breaths. A few months ago, we got engaged!! It was incredibly difficult to keep this a secret from the world, however for about a year we have been planning our special and private wedding!

Fast forward to June things started falling into place! We found the most amazing company to help us fulfill our vision for our wedding! Thank you so much to @cactuscollectiveweddings

We started checking off wedding preparation boxes, such as finding a dress, and getting our marriage license!

Before we knew it, it was wedding month!

From that moment forward we began our new journey as Mr. & Mrs. Cody Hutchison!

As I reflect back on this past school year I am filled with so much joy and pride for all the hard work our kiddos and staff put into each and every day!
